Cannons Inglewood Concert reviews
Not a happy camper!
I never was much of a rock and roller and although I knew Cannons was a rocker I just didn't expect the concert to be like an outdoor concert with people standing through the whole thing and the music super loud. We paid for nice seats and when we got tired of standing we had to look at the backs of people standing up! That didn't help my mood in watching the concert. So much for $125 tickets!!! Let me start off by saying if I had known that we would have to stand through at least 80% of the show I would have never bought tickets, or definitely not bought such expensive tickets.
The music in the beginning was good, although my partner complained that Cannons' voice was raspy. The few old songs like Jack and Dianne he didn't really sing but let the audience sing them instead. Then about 9:30 the music got VERY loud and just full of bass. I could feel the bass in my bones. I could feel the bass in my bones. We weren't enjoying this part of the concert and we ended up leaving the concert early at around 10:00pm. So that was a disappointment.
The movie was a bore and if I had known we didn't need to show up at 7:00 I would have not arrived until closer to the concert beginning at 8:20pm. I agree with some reviewer who wrote it would be nice if Cannons hired some local band to play the opening instead of playing this old movie of his. I had never seen Cannons perform before and I will never pay to see him again.
